Let me tell you about Frank Baker.
“The Purest Prog on the Block”
While a lot of progressive rock is lost in distant fantasy and long dead lore, Frank Baker digs into the roots of what it is to be human.
His music is meditative and nocturnal, deep, and real. It takes a certain patience to sink deeper than the shallow concerns of modern popular music. The quality and inspiration of Frank’s art shows a rare and delicate uncorrupted evidence of this.
In his most recent album, “Noctilucent,” Frank paints a dark, heavy, enchanting audio land scape with taste and technicality comparable to Steven Wilson.
Most impressively, Frank is totally independent - he writes his own songs, plays and records his own instruments, sings, mixes and masters his own music.
A fine example of uncommon talent and dedication.
Living a normal life in the day as a master student in business management, 27 year old Frank Baker makes time at night to compose and produce his own original masterpieces at night. Most of the work he did for his last album “Noctilucent” was done between the hours of 1am and 5am.
